Canada

Well we have driven 1,460 miles since leaving California...and have 1,960 to go!
We reached Quesnel Canada today....on they way we stopped at Hell's Gate and went on the tram across the river. Mark really enjoyed this as he has been wanting to go on this tram since he was a child.
Some fun interesting facts about Canada I have learned on this trip....

1.They refer to the restroom/bathroom as Washroom.
2.They put gravy on their french fries in every restaurant and even the fast food places ask if you want gravy!
3.They have 1 and 2 dollar coins which they call Loonies and Toonies not sure about the spelling. I thought Mark was joking when he told me that, but it is true!
Not sure when I will have internet connection again!

Were officially on the road!

It's 12:51 pm and we are on our way! Goodbye smog,me and my asthma won't miss you!
It was kind of a stressful morning everyone was a bit cranky and getting on each on each others nerves already.
I wonder how hot it will be in redding.
Observance: toll workers are generally not happy people.
P.S. It was 100 degrees in Redding

Packing Up Continued...

Wow another eventful day....yesterday was so stressful. Yesterday the movers were supposed to show up between 1-4pm....by pm no one was there....a whole day wasted! Mark continued to call the moving company, they kept telling don't worry they will be there. Well they didn't show up until 8pm! Apparently their morning job took 10 hours because the people didn't have anything packed! The movers were at our house until midnight, Mark didn't get to the hotel until around 3:30 am! Meanwhile I came back to the hotel around 10pm to take care of the dogs who by the way would not calm down and didn't know what was going on. Lola pooped in the hotel room then later on decided to throw her dinner up.....she is not taking this move very well! Rocco then proceced to cry until 3:00 am because he wanted Mark...I felt like I was up all night with little children! The saga continues...this morning Brandon's Jeep battery was dead, so Mark had to come back to the hotel and fix that. I am thinking WHY WHY?
We are supposed to be on the road tomorrow morning! Yey!
P.S. I am in desperate need of a pedicure/manicure, this packing has thrashed my nails!

Packing Up

I am married to a pack rat! My husband took apart the beds today and low and behold there were at least 20 truck magazines under our bed! Most people read a magazine then toss it or take it the their doctor's office. I haven't even mentioned the garage....there are no words to explain this odyssey. There are more tools than any man may need, and yet my husband and son want more.
I did find my stadium seats today in a box, which I have been looking for at least 5 years!
Enough on that subject. There were two injuries already today...minor but Mark & Brandon both cut themselves. I all I can say is Lord give me strength! We get on the road Thursday 7/2....
